The Saturday beginner class is recommended for all new students who have never done yoga before.
Beginner: For new students who would like to learn the basics of yoga or if you prefer a slower-paced class, this is the one for you. The instructor will take more time guiding you into poses, explaining alignment principles and breathing techniques. A great class to build your yoga foundation.
Early Morning Flow-All Levels: For the early risers we bring a flow yoga class that helps you start your day off being energized and balanced to be able to conquer the day. This dynamic flow class will help you to build strength and flexibility, increase range of motion, learn more about yoga concepts in practice and how to use them in everyday life.
Good Morning Stretch-All Levels: Start your day off right with a gentle stretching and breathing session. Ground your thoughts and set a positive and healthy intention, loosening up your body and mind to be able to conquer all you are faced with throughout the day.
Flow Yoga-All Levels: A class that will cultivate strength, flexibility, and peace of mind. This class incorporates flow of movement and has a nice blend of active and passive poses. A great class for all, where students are encouraged to practice at their own pace.
After Work Flow-All Levels: Unwind and release all of the stress from your day in this mixed technique class. The instructor will incorporate different combinations of yoga including flow, restorative, yoga nidra amongst others to release tension in body, mind and spirit so that you can feel completely nourished and ready to head home and off to a good night’s sleep
Power Flow-All Levels: Designed to cultivate your energy, vitality and freedom, our power yoga class is accessible and challenging for all levels. Classes are designed for all levels with emphasis on sculpting and toning the muscles of the body to guide you towards your strongest self. Get ready to explore your edge, discover your strength, and awaken your spirit!
Gentle Flow Yoga- All Levels: A calming, stress-relieving yoga class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. Poses are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. Recommended for all levels looking for a soothing, relaxing, and restorative experience, especially those newer to yoga or working with special concerns or injuries.
Gentle Yin Yoga- All Levels: Yin yoga is a restorative style of yoga. It focuses on the intersection of body, mind, and spirit, and the balancing of energies. The class features easy postures, the use of props, gentle meditative exercises, and relaxed breathing. Yin yoga utilizes Yin poses, restful postures held for long periods of time to facilitate the release of muscles and connective tissue in contrast to Yang poses, more energetic poses designed to stimulate the energy in the body. Because of this, many practitioners who find themselves utilizing Yang energy throughout the day find Yin yoga to be the perfect rebalancing practice. Yin is designed to be quiet, restful, and rejuvenating. This class is suitable for practitioners of every level, including those with no prior yoga experience.
Restorative-All Levels: This class is appropriate for all students seeking the benefits of a very relaxing, gentle, and nourishing practice. The combination of gentle hatha and deep restorative work improves range of motion and joint mobility while reducing pain and the effects of stress. Students with injuries, arthritis, or other chronic conditions are welcome in these classes. Practitioners with limitations related to age or size as well as students with a more vigorous yoga practice will benefit from this practice. No skill in yoga is necessary to enjoy and benefit.
Chair Yoga- All Levels-: Chair Yoga incorporates the use of a chair into the practice. This provides comfortable support to the student, so they may receive the very same benefits as mat yoga without the stress and strain of getting down to or up from the floor. Students with injuries, arthritis, or other chronic conditions are welcome in these classes. Ideal for seniors.
Kids Yoga- Ages 7-12: Yoga for kids can help build confidence, body awareness, and a focus on the breath as a tool for centering. In this fun class, we will teach kids basic yoga poses, meditation, and breathing techniques so that they can learn how to channel their energy in a calm and productive manner.
Teen Yoga- Ages 13-17: Designed to inspire and empower the student through self expression and a sense of belonging. Students will learn fundamental Yoga postures in a supportive and non-competitive environment while gaining flexibility, strength and focus. This class is designed to build self-esteem and to provide techniques which enable the student to learn how to reduce stress though relaxation and breath work.
Yoga Nidra- All Levels- Yoga Nidra is guided meditation that allows your body and mind to rest while you access inner wisdom and guidance, through a dreamlike journey, filled with soothing imagery, calming music, and long moments of silence. It facilitates a state of peace and joy at the deepest levels in a nurturing and supportive way leaving you feeling relaxed and refreshed. In Yoga Nidra, you can expect quiet moments of reflection and lots of time to simply be. No skill in yoga is necessary to enjoy and benefit.
Reiki- All Levels: Reiki is an ancient healing therapy believed to have originated in Tibet. This ancient form of healing is a vehicle to channel love, the most powerful healer. Reiki promotes personal & spiritual growth, it can expand consciousness and stimulate intuitive and creative awareness. Reiki actively promotes the healing process in many ways and works on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and energetic imbalances. Reiki is one of the most effective natural stress relief therapies available.
Guided Meditation- All Levels: Whether you are a novice seeking guidance on how to start your meditation and mindfulness practice or a seasoned meditator wanting to take your practice to a deeper level, this class is for you. Each week, you will experience a deep meditation, mindfulness process and teachings that will truly support your meditation and mindfulness practice. Designed to calm you mind, body and soul, cut off all external influences and to connect to the spirit within you.
Open Meditation- All Levels: We open the studio so that people have access to a peaceful environment to be able to deepen their meditation practice. So often people are soo busy, they don’t have the time or a peaceful space to be able to cut out all external influences and go within. We want to provide that space to the community, as it is so important in life to invest the time into yourself to connect with the spirit and universe inside of us.
